Weddings

There are various ways to use a bagpipe player at a wedding. All of these options are available to 'pick n mix' as you please:

Playing as guests arrive at the wedding

Giving guests a nice welcome to the venue. An ideal start to the Wedding Service.

Piping the Bride down the aisle

Something a bit different. The tune is normally one of the Bride's favourite pipe tunes.

Playing the Bride and Groom out of the venue

Usually to an upbeat tune to a reel or jig rhythm.

Piping for photographs

Either appearing in the photographs, or to keep the guests entertained while photo session is taking place, or a bit of both!

Playing for guests as they arrive at the Wedding Reception

Giving guests a nice welcome to the post-Wedding celebrations.

Piping the Bride & Groom and/or top table into Wedding Reception

This gives the Reception the ideal start and gets the guests into the partying mood!

Entertaining and also being part of the official photo shoot before the ceremony

This is not an exhaustive list.
Please ask if you have any other thoughts.
